HURRICANE HOUSING RECOVERY PROGRAM (HHRP) FUNDING

DISTRICT 3 and DISTRICT 5

Gulf County has committed funding ($5,915,000.00) from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation HHRP funds to provide Housing Rehabilitation Assistance, Purchase Assistance, and Demolition/Reconstruction for approved Very Low, Low, Moderate, and Median income single-family housing units, effected by Hurricane Michael, throughout Gulf County. There will be a third round of applications accepted only for Very-Low income level applicants that live in District 3 or District 5.

Applications for the HHRP Program are available until February 27, 2020, at 4:00 p.m., E.T. For additional information or to see if you qualify in the Very Low category or if you’re in either District, contact Joe Paul or Lynn Lanier at 850-229-6125. The hours of operation for our offices are Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., E.T.

Additionally, the applications will be available online on the County’s website starting February 13, 2020 by clicking here or you may request an application or additional information by contacting Joe Paul or Lynn Lanier at 850-229-6125. Upon completion, applications must be submitted to Lynn Lanier, at the Robert Moore Administration Building, 1000 Cecil G. Costin, Sr. Boulevard, Port St. Joe, FL 32456. Only completed applications will be accepted.
